Workshop Overview
AAFEA, Inc. invites you to attend our 2013 Training Workshop, September 16th and September 17th, 2013 at the Department of State's George C. Marshall Conference Center in Washington DC.
This two-day event features workshops and presentations that focus on the programs, policies, practices, and processes that promote career-enhancing opportunities and the core subjects critical for becoming a member of the SES. Our workshop leaders include current and retired members of the SES, Ivy League faculty, and corporate executives.
This workshop is intended for government employees and military personnel with experience at the GS-13 and above level (or equivalent experience outside the federal government). AAFEA membership is not required to attend the workshop.
Invited speakers include the Honorable Kweisi Mfume, former Congressman and former President/CEO, NAACP and Clarence Johnson, Director for Civilian Equal Employment Opportunity, Department of Defense. Many other distinguished speakers are also scheduled to attend.
Attendees must register in advance in order to attend. Registration closes on September 6th, 2013; there will be no onsite registration. Only confirmed registrants will be admitted.

2002 by several African American members of the Federal Senior Executive Service. AAFEA promotes the professional
development and advancement of African Americans into and within the senior ranks of the United States Government.
We sponsor programs and advocate policies that will enhance opportunities for African Americans to serve our nation in
